I dunno Bill - the Habs hung tough there for most of the game. Thomas is a very good goaltender, however…and Chara sure had a good game…
I’m so pessimistic… But, it would be nice to see the Habs go to the next round… That would mean the Habs playing the Poster-Boy team… as they are called… We’ll have to wait-and-see…
There’s a local lumber yard down the street… They have a skid of 1" x 6" x 6 ft of the nicest ceader I’ve seen in some time… There’s just enough on the skid to do this studio… It would be so nice to have it this room… AND… the price is right… sigh… So I’m hearing…
I need some of that wine to ponder just where this money is gonna come from…
Bill…
Hang in there Bill… good things come to those who…
Hang in there Bill...... good things come to those who....
work for investment bankers and fleece their clients?

D
PS I got my 401K statement yesterday... I cried for thirty minutes. I'll have to work until I am a hundred and eleven years old...

good things come to those who… get elected.
and so it goes…
I got my paper and pencil out and re-did the arithmetic…
I don’t need the whole skid…
There will be much cutting-and-waste…
So I’ll not order the normal 10% over…
I will order say 10-15% under and then do a Make-up order…
If I do this correctly, I will do the makeup order in Spruce…
so that there will be some random spruce in the wall’s pattern, of cedar and spruce…
We’ll see…
I am pondering this idea…
I am considering this idea as well…
Many people don’t tolerate cedar vapours…
or an wood vapour for that matter…
I am considering a sealer to seal the Open Wood Grain…
That means sealing/covering the wood on both sides before the cedar/spruce goes on the walls…
This is somewhere down the road yet…
I need to wire-and-insulate this place yet…
The breakers for the distribution panel are ordered and should arrive by the mid-to-end of next week…
We’ll see…
Bill…
Sorry… I should be doing this on the other thread…
Leave the wood un-sealed for a deader room - seal for slightly more live - remember - it’s a studio not a vacation destination.
Thank you Poppa Willis:
That makes perfect sense…
I put some thought into the expenditure at this time for the materials for the walls…
I’m gonna get 180 lengths of cedar… I think there is some 450 lengths of it to the skid…
So…
close to 1/2 a skid of material…
OR…
some 1080 linear feet…
If I’m careful with the cutting there should be enough material to do do it…
if my arithmetic is correct…
Bill.
