Well, a bit of selling this and that, I ended up late last night with a MOTU 828mk3, and the combination is blazingly quick. BUT…the 32 bit version of n-Track blue screens with the MOTU. On the other hand, the 64 bit version of n-Track is, so far, a thing of beauty.
This was a long-needed upgrade for me. The sound quality difference between the Aardvark Q10 I’ve been using for years, and the MOTU, is almost night and day.
Now, as my friend DEAD CERTIFIED has pointed out, I’m going to have plug in problems. So I think I’ll start another thread.
