a chance to see Phoo

Even the Europeans think we’re spending our money too liberally. That’s bad.

Would love to go see phoo and the band, unfortunately no funds here.
Will probably have to shut off internet next month. :disagree:

Yep Yaz - been having budget cut talks here at the Willis house too.
I always suggest we think and suggest "what would congress do?"
My wife never buys the idiocy of it all though.
We just plan on our new library having a great Internet service so all the fleeced sheep can use it free.
Ain’t socialism wonderful!

What are you guys worried about? I have to rake piles of that nasty ol’ green money out of my driveway everyday just so I can pull my car in to park. Just drop me a note and I’ll stuff the next “Hefty Yard Bag” full and ship it to ya’…

Sure am I glad I planted all of them money trees twenty years ago.

Sheesh… whiners…

Hmmmmm....maybe I should build a new private studio, stock it with whatever guitars, amps, mics and equipment seems cool at the moment, and quit work so I have time to play with it all.

Drums and recording gear been shipped…YEAH!
:agree:

How about a web-cast? So we can drink beer and watch.

Maybe after the fact…seriously…if things go as planned. It’s just a bunch of old guys living in the past. You aren’t missing much, unless you enjoy the stale smoke and beer smell. The really fun stuff ended long ago and we aren’t going to go there. We couldn’t survive that stuff these days, and our relatives would be mighty embarrassed.

“Old guys can still play R & R but the problem is that no one wants to watch…”

Well, I want to see them.
Leaving way too early tomorrow

Teryeah and Toro are on the way – probably in the air right now. I’m in Raleigh and visiting with The GrampsFather. Sean is coming in Saturday. Times are good and getting better.

Had a great flight, though we flew through Houston. Lots of folks wearing masks and looking scared. We’re doing fine. No worries.

Going to see a few sights tomorrow. Nothing special since I’m from around here, you know. Doesn’t mean I don’t want to see the new Blackbeard exhibit.

Hope you guys are having a ball out there. :agree:

I wanna go :heart-break:

knock em dead Mr Phoo. x

It’s knocking me dead…getting old is not fun. :)

We got two good days of rehearsals in (12 to 8). Two more to go. Thursday to rest. Friday to play at the Brewery. Saturday to jam with friends. That’s the bands birthday party for Steve.

Teryeah is in Ocracoke exploring the NC coast.

Too old to rock n roll . . . too young to die.
Twas easier when yer 20 to 30 years young.

Watch out fer the tornadoes again today phoo.

Well, after working our way from Washington DC through the Outer Banks down to Raleigh, yesterday we (The Bobs) found a rural garage just north of the outer beltway where a bunch of old farts made a lot of noise.
Man do they suck!
JK!

The gig will be good and it was a lot of fun to see them all again :)

mini progress pics

Nice pics phoo. We’re getting socked by the crap weather RIGHT NOW… Tornado warnings popping up everywhere… ugh.

D

PS Nice lookin’ weather chic… all of ours are grumpy ol’ farts…

Thanks for posting the pics phoo !

I’ve got some prescription strength Ibuprofen you can have
Seriously, you should take 2-200 mg Ibuprofen pills before each show and don’t forget to drink lots of water (although I’m sure you know that).

I just recently played bass at a gig for ONE hour and my shoulder was ready to fall off - "What a drag it is getting old…"

Have a good gig!
