Well, this sort of contains a response to some recent event or other.
“3 Microns Wide”:
I feel a quote coming on…
how sour sweet music is,
When time is broke and no proportion kept!
So is it in the music of men’s lives.
Richard II Act V scene 5
Uh…you saying I can’t keep time?
Seriously, the quote from old Bill is right on.
This one is really stong vocally, again, I love your guitar sound. yup, this is one for the station
Classic Spademan there Tom.
Made me chuckle a little, even if the subject is rather sad
Good. A chuckle is a good thing. Those meanies.
Got another almost finished, but we have a house full of visitors, so no go tonight…
Love the flow and beat to this, super melody, the bass just rolls along and moves the song. Some super songwriting in this one. Love the guitars carrying the melody lines in the middle, Loved it!
Well, gosh - thanks…
I really like that. I wouldn’t blink if I heard this on my car radio - well, maybe I would. It sounds better than most of what gets to the rock radio stations here!
'til next time;
Thanks for the listen and kind words, wynot!
I stopped listening to the radio years ago.
My day jobs are both driving, with only an old-timey radio/cassette. And I won’t listen to yak stations, so I am stuck with the incredibly lame music stations here in Atlanta. I can’t figure it out - everywhere I visit has better rock radio programming than here…

Heh - ever been in the Detroit area?
you’d think detroit would have decent radio, with al the rock that came out of that area. for some reason, i remember dallas having good rock radio. was i dreaming? i can’t remember
Detroit had great radio at one time:
WABX, 1968-late 1970s.
Also, the great Electrifying Mojo lates 70s-mid80s
That show was unbelievable…
The Midnight Funk Association:
Solid song, Tom. Can I reference without getting under your skin? I feel as though you are able to get a hook into a nuance and reproduce it with amazing authenticity.
I can smell; Chelsea, eyeliner, 1978ish, Mott the Hoople…
I wanna glue it to Diamond Dogs.
Nice work, dude. That sound is timeless. Yup, if it popped up on the stations that I graze, it would only be a delight.
(from the mini drivers in my craptop, in the next room)
Craptop speakers here too, but excellent tune. You did another one a while back that I liked VERY much, too.
Also, thanks for the Electrifying Mojo history lesson. Do you use any kind of social bookmarking service? I’d like to check out the stuff you read online.
Well, Jason, you just taught me something new. Never knew there was such a thing as social bookmarking. Very cool. Do you use those?
