I have got a good price on a PC that is said to have an AC97 souncard. Is this a good soundcard to use with the n-track?
I’m currently using a Creative SB Live card that works fine for me.

You’ll probably want to move the SBLive card to the new machine. AC97 sound cards are usually the really basic built in sound for Windows bloops and bleeps and usually are not very good for recording. Keep that SBLive.
