Adding a measure to all tracks at once

Hey guys !

I need to add a measure to a whole song with audio and midi tracks.

Is there a way to do this without doing it track by track ?

Also… is there a way to view more than one track in a piano roll window ?

Note: I’m still on V5

Thanks in advance !!!

first EDIT/GRID set grid to measure -
click on GRID ICON - grid appears -

this first part works in V6 not sure about V5 press Ctrl+A (select all)-
otherwise using the far right track zoom icon compress tracks till you have a clear space at the bottom of the timeline - put cursor in clear apace and leftckick move nouse - as you move the mouse you will see a faint box outline appear - drag box so it emcompasses all tracks - release mousse button and all tracks will be selected - use the cross at the bottom of any track and drag the tracks to the grid measure you want - if snap to grid is on tracks will junp to the first measure leaving you free space at the beginning -

you can also hold down SHIFT and click select tracks untill they are all selected - then drag them -

Gracias Magic Rabbit !

I’ll give that a try and come back to you if I’m stuck again.

cheers !

Hey… guess what… got stuck again… (that was fast huh ?)

What if I need to add the measure in the middle of the song ?

Thanks in advance !

select all tracks - put timeline at insert position - EDIT - use one of the SPLICE commands to split all tracks - un-select all tracks - then use SHIFT click or mouse drag select method to select all parts to the right of the split and drag to new position -
