anybody tried one of these with n-Track?
Has anybody ever tried one of these USB control interfaces with n-Track?

At $16 this would be really nice.
It apparently supports CooleditPro/Audition and the ADS website mentions a SONAR 4 plugin, but doesn’t mention if it’s adaptable to other applications.
If they were smart, they’d provide a way to reprogram the keyboard output tied to each button on the box, but there’s no manual or anything on the ADS website.
Thanks,
Rich
If it requires a plugin, then chances are it won’t work with n-Track. For a lousy 16 bux though… it’s tempting.
D
The manual is here
Good find on the manual, thanks.
There’s a program called Girder (http://www.promixis.com/) that can take input from almost any PC input device and translate it to any keystroke/action you want.
Unfortunately, Girder costs $49.95, but maybe there’s a simpler utility out there that can do it for cheaper (or free). According to the manual, this box is a USB HID device, and there are lots of libraries out there make working with HID devices pretty easy.
Like Diogenes said, for $16 I might just get one to play with.
BTW, there used to be a free version or Girder and it’s available at:

This is useful for a lot of different things involving remote control.
