After You're Gone

new version…

I’d originally posted this to FAWM, but I wasn’t overly thrilled with my vocals or the production. I posted it to my collaboration site, and found a wonderful lady with a very Bonnie Raitt-like feel to her singing, and a wonderful Sax player from Canada for this, so it’s completely redone, now

After You’re Gone @ Youtube

that is very nice danny!
im not a huge fan of that style sax playing but it all works very well together
very impressive… have you any plans to work with them again?

Hi dannyraymilligan:

Those tracks are technically well done and assembled…
Lots of separation between those tracks…

In both cases, they just came up with parts and submitted them for the song, and I loved the parts, and went with those, lol.

Bill..

Thanks, Bill. It wasn't hard to do, lol, there's only 2 guitars, a sax, and a vocal track

It’s been said many times…

Less-is-Better… Anyway… There’s less stuff to get in the way…

Hey Bill, that's certainly true. The best tracks I've mixed have no guitars, zero vocal tracks, no drums, and no other instrumentation.

I mixed a nose flute and a pair of spoons once..
The best thing I ever mixed.. It didn't sell any OR go anywhere..
I checked it twice..
Just-in-Case..

Nothing came outta the nose or got on the spoons..

Bill..

Hey Danny this is great! :agree:

Well done mate. You’ve put a lot of work into this.

Thank you for the nice comments, folks :)

Mark: Sounds to me like you mixed a song with nothing in it, musta been a lot of work

WHAT is a nose flute???

Yea carve it outta a PEI Potato…
Leave the Red Clay on the skin…
Makes it sound better…
:)
:p

Idaho Potatoes don’t work well for a Nose Flute… I don’t know why… ??? Don’t ask…

Bill…

ooooooooooooooooooooooookay…
