I had the frets redone on my strat - 21 years of playing had left its mark - by this guy:

I didn’t know he also made guitars. I played one. Simply gorgeous. He took a lot of time with me to talk about all sorts of interesting things that affect the sound. Like this odd nut that stuck out on the G and D strings. Learned more in 30 minutes than I had in a long time. Cool. :agree:

To help with intonation problems no? I use to have a Gibson Explorer with a Kahler locking whammy system on it. I had a local pro set it up and maintain it for me. Never a problem and played like a dream. Those guys are usually worth every cent. Until you learn to do it yourself... Can't help it. I'm a cheapskate...
