My friend got his new Strat he ordered. It’s one of those MIM “Deluxe Player” models. It has the “American Vintage Noiseless” (and they are noiseless!!) pickups with the extra pushbutton to turn the bridge pick up on regardless where the 5 way switch is set.
These things are going for about $550 at MF and American Musical Supply. VERY nice looking guitar. More importantly though, the thing SOUNDS great. Partly due to the solid Ash body IMO. I also could not believe the factory setup was so well done. I told him he had a keeper. If you are in the market for a dang fine Strat and don’t want to pony up a grand or more for the “Made in America” series, check this model out. It is saaweeet!
