This episode is not without precedent… It’s happened many times before. This time of year, the trees around my house are filled with these things in the evenings. I could probably step outside with a pistol and fire a blank in the air and several hundred would kill themselves trying to fly away. Blackbirds have terrible vision especially at night. They’ll fly into walls, fences, cars the GROUND… For one simple reason; It’s DARK.
But… that doesn’t make good fodder for the weirdos to try to incite the uneducated to leap to all manner of stupid theories.
