I must be One Lucky SO-and-SO…
I’m downloading an installing these n-Track builds on this P-111 as fast as Flavio posts them up here…
Now, I’m not without issues…
I’m not recording any tracks… I’m just importing past projects into the beta builds… and comparing how these builds work as I remember them to work when I worked with these OLD projects…
I used to Thumb’s-Down this P-111 XP Machine Big-Time 4-5 years ago when it was first built…
AND…
It’s not without it’s Quirks-and-Issues… I described it as the worst machine I ever used…
I can tell when I’m pushing it and running out of resources…
The Mouse begins to behave erratically just before it quits and reboots… I know I’ve run out of RAM. But It always seems to come back and is as stable after a reboot as I expect it to be…

Then I ended up on some MS Message Board where the users were complaining BIG Time that it was causing some users issues that they couldn’t recover from…
The only issues I ran into was, my Browser v7 (latest Builds) began to open at a very slow speed…
After it launched, it was O.K. and operated normally…
It doesn’t matter if I’m connected to the Internet… or…

Hi Bill, well it was me and my typing, you have to include the “point” in 6.0 otherwise it’s nTrack 60 (nTrack v60, wonder when that’s due for release?).

Anyways sent Flavio 3 bugs I have, he’s got one already fixed in 2342 (select left track bar elements)
Still can’t save compressor presets in the pop up eq window.
And the 64bit installer installs as 32 bit, but Flavio can’t check that til this weekend.
My typing and information entry is so poor that I do a spell check when I’m up here on message boards… before I push the Enter Button…
They say if you enter the first and last letters of a word that the mind doesn’t see a misspelled word in a message…
BUT…
computers haven’t learned or don’t know that yet…
If I typed a message the way it appears in my mind it would come out in “Bluenose”…
Only a Bluenoser would be able to understand it…

(That may not be exactly how he has written it…

What were the bugs you had and which one was fixed in build 2342?
I wish Flav would include the build # in the file name.
No way to tell which ntrck_swBeta.exe is which.

When you download the file you can add the build number to the name in the box when it asks where to save it to.
I’ve done this to all the upgrades of version 4 and 5.

I sent in 3 bugs.
1. Left track bar elements, saving did not keep from one use to the next. FIXED. Build 2342
2. Saving presets on the individual track compressor (eq saves ok) fails. Not Fixed. Build 2344
3. 64bit installer now says you need .NET Framework 3.5 to install. I downloaded and installed 3.5, now the 64 bit installer installs 32 bit v6 and v5 at the same time in the x86 program files. Not fixed build 2344.
Anybody got a spare can o RAID!
WD-40 works just as good as Raid…
Try it sometime.

This is fixed. Build 2344
Yep - no more errors with Vista install - and the user defined presets are saving and restoring nicely.
Well spoke to soon, not saving on the 64bit machine, but is on the 32 bit machine.
