burning wav files to CD

urning Wav Files to CD

We are having difficulty burning wav files to CD. recorded songs as sng files then saved as wav files and burned to cd. CD songs only play mono not stereo but when played back as sng or wav files play in stereo.
Wat are we doing wrong?

Hi ackleyp:

That’s a fascinating issue, you got there…

My question is…
What player do you have defaulted to play when you “slick” on the .wav file(s) that you have written on the CD ????

Bill…

OK…so we are just learning this system our default player in ntracks is the delta M44
what does “slick” mean and we are playing CD in our stereo CD player after burned. Apparently we recorded in 2 mono tracks and would only save as an sng file which we then did a “save as” wav to be able to burn to cd

Hi ackleyp:

That might explain your issue…

I see you TomS…
TomS will have the FIX for you…

My reply would be to render your tracks in n-Track…
It’s called mixdown…
Under the left-hand menu…
Then your files will play alright and with No-Issues…
Give that a try…

Bill…

In the n-Track “mix-down” preferences box you can choose stereo or mono.

OK…Thanks guys. We’ll give it a try…we had guessed while travleing thath we may need to swtich to stereo …duh :)
