Excellent song Poppa! Uh, I agree with Tom on the old gospel hymns still some of my favs!

Just A Closer Walk With Thee (How old is that tune?) My Dad and I used to sit pickin and grinnin that one.

“All extremists should be shot” ? ? ?

Does that include fingers and toes? ???

Just a Closer Walk - man you are old!
How bout “Little Pine Log Cabin?” Or “Shanty in the Holler?”

Jimmy Driftwood? (Battle Of New Orleans)

And I’m old? ? ? Gimme a break!

Ohhhhhhhh, extremists, doh, I thought it said extremities

I thought it said “extra mites”. I don’t have any extra mites…

D

I have everything Jimmie Driftwood ever did…
I like the extremity of the saying “All Extremists should be shot” most folks don’t get it though.
I had a lady really get mad at me - I had it printed on a bulletin board - she got all in my face demanding I take it down. I just looked at her and said, "That’s a little extreme don’t you think?"

Speaking of humor - what does it mean If you can read this you don’t need goulashes?

Battle of New Orleans, still one of the coolest songs I know, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band did an awsum version on the Dream lp, I think.

Bubblegum Pop!

Ange x

Thanx Ange… He’s fine now.

Good to see you’re doing well. I have Third Day’s first three CDs, but haven’t heard what they’ve been up to since then. I’ve tried listening to “Christian Hits Radio”, or whatever they call it, but other than a gem every now and then, haven’t really been inspired by any of it. Adam Again was a band I really enjoyed a lot, though they weren’t as gospel oriented as Third Day.
