Hey Poppa & the team,
I was wondering how many hits the contest pages have been getting, like without getting specific, how many plays are there in general?
Also, if you like the idea, I could handle the promotion in the Soundclick forum promo pages, say yes and I will plaster it.
The only thing I’m left wondering is about how long the list is,don’t get me wrong, I have loved it, I’ve checked back every few days to hear the latest, so I have a vague memory ( that’s true in general I’m afraid) of the everything on the list BUT I think someone coming to the page now would probably not hear all the entries.
You may remember I promised to hear the whole thing but I got as far as some goof singing about Chinese food, sweet & sour? Put me right to sleep!
Anyway, maybe next year (see how I just assume we will do this next year? Plleeeaaase…) we should limit the entries to just 2 per artist? just an idea to throw out there, maybe the list would shorten up a little?
But again don’t get me wrong, I have loved it and don’t have any real problem with the way y’all set it up

I’m gonna vote fer ME!!! Err… wait, nevermind… 
I have to go listen again. The ‘covers’ has a few new additions since I checked them out. I have a notebook where I write down the title of the song and make comments and give it a rating 1 through 10. Then I chuck the lowest scores and really listen to the top three or four. It works for me… I just gotta find time to check out ‘Originals’ and ‘Silly Songs’. I can’t wait to do some serious listening to ‘Originals’!!
Again, I am amazed (and jealous!) at the talent floating around out there!

Help! I just read the post I put with my cover song. I wanted to say, “Recorded Using n-track” It says “suing N-Track.” Yuck! I am not SUing - I love the program. I jst can’t type. 
I noticed that Bax. 
I wondered "What’s he SUING n-Track for?"
Heh… no problem. I can’t type worth a hoot either. Just read one of my bone-head posts for proof!

I forget but I think just make it easy, voters just vote for one, like a radio push button, like that hockey poll you had, or was it a poll about not p/off Flavio? And the winner would be the one earning the most raw votes.
I would say keep it simple and make it easy on yourself. Unless someone knows a way to automate a ratings system. I just hate to think of anybody with a calculator, late at night, pulling out thier hair with a big spreadsheet in front of them.

One poll for each song is 117 polls - I may have to split them up into song votes instead of song rating.
Rating each song is too much Poppa! Just a vote for your favorite in each cataqgory would do I think…
