Count-in before recording starts?

I looked up and down the manual but I can’t find a way to have a short countdown before recording begins.

Any ideas?

There isn’t a specific feature to do that.

It’s best to simply leave 4 or 8 bars of count-in click before the song begins anyway. When you do the final mixdown, you can omit mixing down these seconds (though you should leave a second or two of silence at both ends of any song except in special circumstances).
