So, how would the traditional chords be played with that tuning…

I wonder how it works with string tension etc with standard sting gauges.

I had enough trouble with a 5 string bass so I’m not sure my brain would cope.

We teach Ukulele at the guitar school. The strings are the same interval as the top/high 4 strings on a guitar so playing it is pretty easy.

On a uke if you play (for example) a D7 shape it’s a G chord. And a G shape is a C.

So I’m all good until I look at the chord chart then my 35+ years of playing guitar kicks in and I go wrong.

But saying that, I do enjoy the Keith Richard open tuning.
