Issue with the dithering box checked
I just downloaded the trial Ozone3 mastering software and I’d like to thowout a couple questions I was using Ozone to dither and my understanding is it fills the top or bottom 8 bits with zeros. When I resample and downsize I dont check the dither box on the Ntrack dither box because Ozone has already dithered I just want to throw them away… but when N-Track writes the Downsampled file the dither box is greyed out and checked. My file sounds awsome; just curious what and why its happening.
Does any one know of the advantages of running Ozone as a VST or DX plug in?
