Edirol FA-101 not automatically recogniz

Each time I open N-Track I have to go into Preferences and click OK and then audio will start showing up in N-Track.

Is because it’s a Firewire device? Or just a bug?

Thanks,
Jeff

I have no idea. ???
Have you selected the appropriate driver for the Edirol under Preferences > Audio devices?

If you’ve got everything set up correctly and still suffer this issue, you may elect to try a reinstall of n-Track.

I wouldn’t think it would be a FireWire problem, as I use a MOTU 828mkII with no issues.
However, that’s not to say that there isn’t some weird voo-doo that goes on with all the different interfaces and computer configurations there are out there.

You may even want to check with Edirol for any updated drivers. Looks like the latest driver is from 04/30/2004.
