Error opening MIDI In device

When I open nTrack and hit record, I get the following error:

“Error opening MIDI In device”.

I never used to get this error, and cannot figure out how to fix it.

Any suggestions?

Presumably you don’t use MIDI?

On the tool bar there is an icon that changes the recording mode from Audio, to MIDI, to both. It may look like a Keyboard & Microphone on yours (Audio & midi recording).

Click the icon until it looks like a microphone rather than a microphone AND keyboard. Now N-track won’t try to record MIDI and you shouldn’t get the error.

Of course, if you are trying to record MIDI then ignore me.

Thanks. I’ll give that a try. I’m actually recording both audio and midi. Guitar tracks and VST drums.

I can’t seem to get the VST drums to record with nTrack without clipping.
