That’s a fair price for getting rid of that ridiculously ugly Epi headstock.
Ugh! I have spoken
SNOB!
Um… I like the Epi headstock…
Tell you what Terje… you can save me from low budget mediocrity by buying me a new White Falcon okay?
D
Sadly, you’re barking up the wrong tree here. I don’t have the funds to spend and I don’t even play the lottery…
What you should do is look up a white 512x the next time you’re in Germany.
They are the coolest of the bunch!
Once you’ve played the BeSt… Ya can’t Play the ReSt…
I hear ya teryeah
I don’t know the KeY ta doitin…
Bill…
p.s. I broke the paper off my comb…
SWEET!
Hey, at least the exchange rate is a bit more favorable with Canada versus your last idea... "Pick up a white 512X in Germany..." It would cost me 10,000 dollars! LOL...

Those are nice lookin guitars…
they are…
They are dream guitars…
There was one place at this end of the country that sold Godin Guitars…
Then they got swallowed up by the Musicstop…
a long time after I moved on…
Then that place along with other independent stores got sold out to Long and McQuade…
Now there’s only one place to buy musical equipment locally…
Sorta like a monopoly…
on the trade…
If ya don’t buy at their prices, you go to Sweetwater…
It’s not the right way to buy instruments, though…
One thing they are missing…
A six pick-up piezo saddle bridge…
Bill
One thing they are missing...
A six pick-up piezo saddle bridge..
Ouch!
Why f*ck up a perfectly good guitar with those crappy sounding gadgets?

Ermmm... what yeah HE^^^ said...
I ain't never heard a piezo that was worth a crap.

I see them as …
if they something on your guitar they can’t be mixed into your guitar track…
Not that you would use them by themselves…
It’s like …
I just bought this great guitar amp…
It cost me $500.00
I got it for a steal, but don’t tell anyone…
The sales guy told me it sounds just like a Fender Black-Faced Deluxe Reverb… BUT…
when I got it home and fired it up I can’t find the button that says Fender Deluxe Reverb, on the front panel…
I tore the paper on my comb…
again…
Bill…
Cheers D. My son’s naggin’ the danglies off of me for ‘us’ to get one:-(

Well? Go ahead and grab one. You can be a "beta tester" for me.

I can't justify the $$$$$ for Gretsch, Gibson etc so I have to look at other brands. I have an Epi Les Paul Custom... well my son has it... (in the pic below) I probably scrounged through dozens of them at various music shops until I found that one. It is every bit as good as a Gibby in every detail except maybe resale value. Who gives a fig? I buy them to PLAY... not bank on for future "value".
My last purchase, also a hollow body, is a Hagstrom Viking which is sort of an ES-335 clone. I lucked out on it too. Ordered online but it arrived perfect. I put my preferred strings on it... checked the intonation and I was in love...
Hag Viking $599
Case $89 (I think?)
Gibson ES-335 $2400 and UP!
There ya' go...

PS If that Swingster had P-90's or H-90's in it... I'd probably pimp the wifey out so I could order one! (Not really... maybe sell one of her kidneys though...)
