I think I’ve figured out something - folks who post songs on FAWM using a service that does not allow remote streaming don’t get many listens. So, soundclick and bandcamp are out…

Great start, guys.

git yers posted, tony!

So what do you need Tom? Web space? Dropbox? Dropbox might just give you want you want (but it can be a bit slow with streaming).

I'm not all that informed on all the various music hosts around. Would be interested to hear what you come up with.

I created a google site and stuck the mp3 file there - it stream directly. Did it for the first of today’s tunes, which is also here:

Hey Tom, that's great. Didn't Really enjoyed that.

In fact I generally enjoy all of your stuff. I love the guitars and your melodies. And your harmonies. I'd still love to have a looky-see of one one of your mixes - just to hear the styles and how you've put them together.

So that's three songs and it's only the 3rd here in NZ so you're well ahead of the curve.

Snow days sure help. :) Plus having low standards.

Uh, how does one have a look see at a mix?

Well ideally I guess it would be good to see the whole project. Ie the n-track file and the wavs (or mp3s would be smaller but you'd have to convert the wavs first).

How small does the pack songfile thingy make the whole project?

Then Dropbox then is our friend. Public folder in Dropbox. Send the linky.

Nice job Craig.

I read through the words before I listened and I thought they were great. Love the chorus. Very rememberable and singable.

It's good to hear the stripped-down musical arrangement too. If the song still works with guitar+voice (oh and bass and tambourine) then it's got to be a winner.

Good one.

Hey thanks Mark. 'insert lead guitar at 2.03’

I’ll probably stick to the stripped down thing from now on.

Just heard Toms toon by the way :agree:
