Free samples from Berklee

Tons of free samples from Berklee School of Music if you want em.

that is sooooo cool.

Thanks man, great contribution :agree:

That’s quiet a bit of files to sift through…I liked the zukerman ones

Can you recommend, point me toward good real drum samps?

I tried the Tama but they sounded like the standard TR-909 in fruity.

keep shinin’

jerm

So…I downloaded them all…how do you integrate their use into N?

Did you folks see the link to this, as well?

Bill - it depends on what you want to do with them. The most obvious thing to do is put them in a VSTi sampler, and play them that way. E.g., the drum samples would work well in a drum VSTi, like the free one that comes with Computer Music magazine. I haven’t explored all of the samples here, but some of them appear to be wave files of things like ambiant spaces and could just be put in a mix directly.

So, any recommendations for an open source VSTi which works with wav files?
