Help with mixing this?

Wait - which link should I listen to?

Craig, adding my little input, here.

The song is fabulous, and the second mix is definitely stronger. I would keep the drums where you have them, but add a little bottom end in the EQ to bring your kick up in the mix.

The vocals are perfect, but if it were me, I might add the slightest amount of reverb to them, make them sound a little fatter in the mix.

One other thing, and I may be WAY OFF BASE on this, but for the chorus, have you thought about adding some harmony backing vocals to it, not just doubling the lead vocal? Somehow or another, I hear a 5th Dimension “Aquarius” vibe to the chorus, if you want to take the risk…

Now this second one....

The drums are like they are in a different room or something...and they drop too low during the verses, I wouldn't bring the entire track up just the drums on verses.

What a mean by different room is the guitar is sort of grungy in your face even the bass is sort of edgy, but the drums are just too studio clean to go with it, we need grit here, IMHO.

keep shinin

jerm

Appoint a Producer and supply just ONE Steering Wheel…

Open n-Track delay plug, with one kick back and adjust the delay time to 1/2 the tempo…
?
or…
to taste…
Pan the Kicks left-and-right for starters…

That’ll give the Vox’s some edge…
Anyway,
