Helping a Friend

Good things do happen

Last summer I helped out a friend who had a lite stroke and went to his house and built a set of box steps up this huge hill to his house. I did it with treated 2x8’s and filled the boxes with sand and gravel, had a 90degree turn and and did it with 22 1/2 degree steps instead of just turning. Put him up a fancy handrail and all. Didn’t ask for anything in return, just helping out a good friend. He purchased and gave me a hand made C.E. McGee mandolin, worth about $800 US. Was pretty cool and sounds awsum and plays like a dream. Good things happen ocassionally don’t they? :D

Good for you Yaz! Good deeds have rewards. Sometimes material rewards, sometimes just knowing you did the right thing is enough.
