I've updated the

Studio Photo Blog…

Hi n-Trackers:

I’ve updated the studio photo blog, for anyone interested in seeing what the wox is up to…
The Studio Photo Blog

Winter is over…
I ordered it to-be…
:)
:agree:
The grass is getting green…
The sun is making heat…
At-Long-Last…

Bill…

Looks like a great place to record, a place where it would be easy to be creative. Tell me about those speakers,t he red ones.

It’s taking shape Billy :agree:

It’s all about ram!

Hi TomS:

I hope that atmosphere will surface when the wiring and toys get connected and works…
I think I got the mail working as it does in the house…
I’ve been playing with the mail accounts on the studio machine over the weekend…
I think it happened over the winter when I wasn’t in the studio and I had to rebuild the House Vista operating system…
I find I’m still unable to get the LAN operating correctly…
I’m typing this reply from the studio machine…
I am able to connect to the Internet O.K.
and to some degree the LAN… BUT…
not like I’d like to see it behave…
The reason I need the LAN is, I’d like to have the ability to Edit Files outside and away from the Studio Environment… The…
Re-insert the edited file back into the “Working Folder/File” without having to sync the “Project File/Folder”
on the fly…
NOT…
after-the-fact…

Today, I’m checking Record and Repro Levels To-and-From the Studio Machine and the Alesis MasterLink Recorder within the n-Track Editor and the Hill Audio Console… The result of recording and repro and replay is what I expected, to see…
AND…
it-to-be…

TomS and n-Track Gents… SO FAR… IT’s BEAUTIFUL…
:)

Well, I think SO…

I have a Lasertrak CD 2000 Test Disk that I want to run-up the Setup with…
I tried to get a photo of the jewel case liner…
I will post it on the blog, anyway…

I have so much work-and-checking to do, it’s mind boggling…
Anyway, One Day at a Time…

Those Red Boxes are 1/4 wave corner cabinets…

I built them back in my Dalhousie University Days when I was a Research Technician in the Chemistry Department…
Back then…
We used them around the country when we did concerts,
and for wash monitors when we did Hockey Arenas…

I describe them as, they cover the room to 1/4 coverage …
The boxes are not supposed to have any influence as to how the drivers sound, with-in the 1/4 wave coverage…
I know, when you open the amps up, you can hear them a 1/4 mile away…
:p

I hope to use them to tune the room for Flutter-and-Standing Wave Reflections… as-well-as acoustic Rattles-and-Squeaks in the room and all…
All the other speaker boxes I have in the room are 1/2 wave/room coverage, set-up…

The Yorkville YSMp Boxes are the main mixing boxes…
The other boxes are mainly for PFL Listening and Reference Listening and A/B Reference…

It just takes TiMe…
:)
:p

I have some more photos to post up on the photo blog…

Anyway, steady as it goes…
