I discovered this link

Have a peek…

Hi n-Trackers…

The link was in my mail In-Box, this morning…
What’s you take on this box?

Thompson Model VE-4

The CBC Halifax, is having an Electronic Yard Sale today…
I’m off to see what they are shootin out-the-door…
???
We’ll see…
:)

Bill…

I brought home some FleeMarket CBC Junk…

For $50.00 CDN
I got a pair of these…

And a Full Blown Version Version of Adobe Digital Video
Collection Version 7, for $20.00

This is the link to the
CBC FleeMarket Day, for this stuff…

I have no idea if the speakers work OR if the Adobe Software will run on my old Intel P-4 machine…

Time will only tell, if the speakers work… I have an old Peavey CS-800 Power Amp to run them…
???
This stuff is all out-dated…

Bill…

As far as I’m concerned you scored! (If they work). I could use some speakers like those for $20.
The software not so much but I’ll bet those suckers will pump.
G

Oops $50. Still worth it all the way I think. Good ol stuff.
G

Nice speakers. Cones all look good. Let’s hope they’ve not been thrashed.

Hi Gents:

I’ve been quite busy lately, spending too much time doing things that I’d like to get behind me and move on with my life…
Anyway, I had to go to that Flee Market to see just what was there…
I believe that the Good Stuff had already been picked over…
The story has it…
the CBC is vacating that building and consolidating their operations into one large enterprise-and-building, instead of spread out into several buildings…
The Radio division has a World Class Tracking and Production Studio…
Those Toys have not been touched…
Rest assured…
Anyway, I have not had the time to power up these boxes yet…
However, I put a battery across the inputs and I hear the cone speakers and tweeters working…
I think they are gonna be alright ????
We’ll see…
The software, I just don’t know…
The CBC has moved outta Windows and is into MAC, so I hear , for Audio and Video Editing…
For how long?
We will only see…

On another topic…
Bob and I have been working on “Bread-boarding” this WOX MK1 Guitar amp…
Most of the construction is complete and we are almost ready to begin installing resistors-and-capacitors, and all…
I’d like to get the Photo Blog updated on this project…

THEN…
We have acquired a 1966 Black-faced Fender Deluxe Reverb amp…
This amp could be one of the few left around these parts…
The photo blog to this amp has been started…
and can be found HERE

What a Find…
We are beside ourselves…
:)
:p

Bill…

Hello there, woxnerv, I suppose you have got yourself something good here. However, I am not sure whether the Adobe Digital Video Collection version you got would work with the Pentium 4 processor you are using. Now that many advanced processors are around, I would highly recommend you to switch on to them so that the Adobe Software would run perfectly! And about the speakers: I should say it would work well provided you use it on a constant basis!

Hi asterly:

Thanks for the reply…
I’ve done a “Google” on that Adobe box/bundle and discovered that the retail box sold for some 2400.00
at one-point-in-time…
I’ve not done anything with the bundle yet…
and may never…
We’ll see…
What’s 20.00 in this day-and-age ?

Anyway, I discovered another link and sent some mail off to this guy in Georgia, way down south…
Here’s the link…

Have any of you heard about this guy and the Hardware he sells????

I am thinking that this box may have some “End Product” possibilities…
This thing is not cheep…
AND…
Anything that’s “Good” these days can’t be had for cheep…

Does this box look like it could see some use in-ans-around your Tracking, Editing and Mixing environments????
