I was mixing a simple piano line when I had the idea to add tempo delay to it - I played around with an aux channel set up but never liked what I had until I thought I might be able to ride the effect on a ‘mix while playing’ mixdown to bring it in and out where I wanted it - for some reason none of my effects drawing capabilities were working so I wondered if you can write aux send volumes in automation - sure enough you can - I never knew that till last night - that opens up a lot of neat ways to mix your effects levels without drawing. Very nice. I was able to add tempo delay gently and fade it out smoothly. Yet to try balance faders… who knows, could be groovy.
New to me anyway.
