To do it…???
There’s no way I could let this alone…
Redneck Oprah…
Well…
Bill…
Gosh Bill I would thank you, but it hurt to listen. After a couple of notes I turned off the sound and watched this guys expressions. Looks like it hurt him too.
5 Octaves without getting one note correct is something of a talent on it’s own
Once he got above middle C on the piano, I tried to pull my cap down over my ears, and turn it sideways…
I played on a stage once that one of the guys did third’s-and-fifth’s on some of the vocal lines…
He smoked three packs a day…
He developed lung cancer and after a year or so he left us…
During songs he would take coughing spells…
and would leave his mic…
That’s when I used to cover his lines…
However, I could never cover the lines he sang like he used to do…
After a while I got caught out, one time…
I used to look like I was doing my harmony part…
I could act it out pretty good, or, at least I thought so…
I found it hard to change my parts and switch to his lines/parts, on the fly, so-to-speak…
Anyway, life goes on…
We really miss him…
Bill…
This raises one question; why?
Well…
I was sortta gnawing at my teeth, as I listened to it…
I almost bit my tongue…
If that had happened it would keep me from stuttering…
…
I guess…
Bill…

Wonder why the guy didn't master one note at a time.
I mean if his heart is set on singin, he should make one note work before moving on.
It's like women and golf.
If a lady who hasn't been known for athletics or her golf playing wants me to take her golfing.
She has to pass a test.
If she can't hit the ground with a golf club, she can't play.

Wouldn’t you like to be in this guy’s backing band though?
You could stand behind him and strangle a cat and you’d still get paid. Fact is, he’d probably give you a bonus!
strangling a cat with one hand and whipping a cow with the other might get you two paychecks.
ahh, the life of a session musician.
Ahhhgh!!! I put my fingers in my ears when the RAF fly-by.
