It's All In The Game

Needs A Drum Kit…

Hi n-Track Users:

I got the bass track edited and mixed…

All In The Game

There’s two guitar tracks done by the same person…

A nice drum kit would go pretty good with this instrumental…

Bill…

Bill, that’s so cool and laid back. Beautiful playing and very nice mix. I’m not sure that it needs any drums at all, maybe just a soft brush.

Really nice listen,
Ian

I agree with Bruffie. Maybe brush snare and a little hihat.

Nice job Bill.

with a baritone vocal it would be amazin’…

great tune…

Pro:95%

really nice performance’s Bill - great recording - there’s a few scattered ‘pops’ - may just be mp3…

Nice work.

It just needs some -

‘shoo doop doo bee doo’

(which I will gladly supply for $250)

I’ll do “dooby doo wahs” for $100 and a bucket of fried chicken… :p

D

PS With all that chicken grease on my fingers, I might as well throw in a guitar solo! LOL…

That guy is soo smooth…
He was the guitar player in the first band I played in the early '60’s…
We covered the West Coast Venture Quartet…
If any of you remember them from the Late 50’s - Early '60’s.
Russell was as good then as he is now…
There’s another guitar player around town that is just as “Smooth”
a player…
I believe he was and still is an n-Track User…

I don’t know for sure… I believe that Russell is a Cubase user…

After a couple of years of playing the Ventures, we parted our music endeavours…
He went on the road where I got married and played the bar scene…
Anyway, he got Cabin Fever and came off the road…
where he opened a Music Store…
by the early-to-mid '70’s…
I became employee “ONE”…
By the mid '80’s there was 45 in his employ… He recently retired and sold his enterprise… I think he had 10 stores in-and-around the Maritimes…
His Market Place included much if not all of Canada…

Anyway, he’s a Master of the Guitar…
AND…
a Master of the Music Business…

He practices his guitar playing faithfully every day…
He’s an inspiration to many musicians and guitar players around these parts… He was one tough businessman…

Bill…

p.s.
That rendition grabbed me as soon as I heard the introduction…
I know his style so well…
I don’t think you’ll ever hear any “Raunch” come from him…
At our age that would be unlikely… I’m sure he played the “Raunch” of the Day when he was on the road…

I was telling the Drummer guy I work with what I was working on…
He blurted out the guy who wrote the song (I think he said it was some American Politician) and the vocalist who made the song popular… way back when and the history of the song-and-all…

It sure don’t need any of my bass lines…
I know…
it’s gonna get back to Russell…

Ii KkNnOoWw…
I was think’in about Doo-Wha’in it toooo…

:peace:

I think the “Clicks” appeared on it after I didither’d it from 48 khz.
the 44.1 khz…
The mp3 compression is 128 khz. Variable Bit Rate…
Could that have been where it started ????

I’ve been editing some of the wrong notes on that bass track…
Anyway, I’ll get the the project again and do some more editing, sometime…

I wish I knew all the correct notes on that frett board…
