lost some plugins…
My buddy has a computer at our little recording place out in the country, no Internet.
Recently had a hard drive issue, as part of resolution he “uninstalled some files that didn’t have anything to do with n-Track”.
We’re still running 6 there due to issues with older end of support Delta 1010 sound card and firewire setup.
Windows 7, 64-bit.
At any rate, I’ve fixed the hard drive problem with cloning a new disk, the whole system works.
The VST effects with version 6 are all there in the selection box, but the DirectX effects are gone:
n-Track AutoVol
n-Track Chorus
n-Track Compressor
n-Track Echo
n-Track Parametric EQ
n-Track Pitch Shift
n-Track Reverb
I’ve done a clean install of the same version on another computer and I see all the effects.
The contents of the default plug-in folders (C:\Program Files\FASoft
-Track Studio 6 x64\VstpluginsShared
and C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3) on the two computers are the same.
I’m guessing a file got deleted that contained these effects, but many hours of searching hasn’t pointed me at where that file may have been stored.
Any ideas?
