Firewire 410
Has anyone had experience with this recording interface with laptops and NTrack? Please help a raw beginner!

I own a FW410 and and I’m quite pleased with it. Never used it with a laptop, but I did carry it with me to our band’s rehearsal and plugged it in to a desktop computer there. I suppose that it’s performance in terms of # of tracks would depend on the hard drive of the laptop and # of effects and softsynths would depend on your CPU speed. If you have any questions about the device, let me know, although I’m no expert.
