I love the way they bounced from one cello to another for different lead tones to compliment each melody, great choices made there.

Agreed, but in other of their clips they drag the cellos around the stage.
Maybe they could mount small mics on them, but wouldn't that pickup bumps?
Piezo will pick up bumps too… so moot point. Mic them dealies!
