Good news and Bad news
Well after several months I finally give up… it just dosent work for me. ( mid to Wav Wizzard )
The good news is that the Roland VSC virtual synth aside from having great sounds, will allow me to convert a midi file to a 41k .wav file which I then import to Ntrack. I can mute tracks and end up with just the Bass or Bass,Drums and piano before converting which is cool.
I can then edit each track with wavelab and also add in all kinds of good nTrack effects
The ntrack midi to wave wizard sucks, and should be avoided at all costs.
Are you using the approach I described in the previous thread you posted. Or does the synth plug in have its own conversion process? ?
