Mighty Korg DS-10

Wait I’m sorry, you said no FRESH ideas

Yea there are some around here that are definitely right on the cusp. Bordering on pure genius and total madness lol But I’m not sayin anthing nor am I pointing anyting other than a thumb :agree: you weridO’s

Hey D - you mind if I write “Here in the Deep End” ?

If you think that you can stay a’flote, go for it.
Why ask that nut? lol Wasn’t her just representing himself with a pic of a kitty cat holding a rifle as if to snipe?

Wish i knew more how to make synthy stuff like this… :( Bleeps and bloops confound me despite my undying love for them. I need to get some old analog deal to play with some day.

Bleeps and bloops confound me despite my undying love for them. I need to get some old analog deal to play with some day.

Grab the Fruity Loops demo Bubba. Insert a synth and just randomly drop notes on the grid "blobs". Press play. Delete one here... add one there... Open the synth and twist dem little knobbies...

Sometimes just noise ensues but most often an interesting "thing" happens. I have a little blurb on the HD at home that needs finishing that was made that way. I rendered it to audio and then chopped it up and reversed some bits. Big fun...

I am too instant gratification oriented. I can grab a mic and a musician and know what I am going to get and get what I want NOW. Meh, once I have everything setup… I will have two keyboards ready to roll at all times, so perhaps I can mess with this a bit. There is no shortage of cheap/free VSTi synths out there. Getting doors in this week and flooring is in the finishing staes. Snap, not to hijack, but I should get some photos up. Empty concrete shell and HVAC look very different now.

Yeah pics would be cool…

This just reminded me… I need to put Fruity on my new screamin’ demon work laptop before my trip to MN next week. Gimme sumthin’ to do whilst killin’ time at the hotel.

Electronica is a lot like sculpting - just like DEADman said.
But there is a more traditional compositional element to it as well.
Not that I am any good at it.

This stuff is just 1/2 hour messing with the bleeping machine.
With which I am very impressed.
It’s not a game.
It’s a real sequencer.
With lots of interesting limitations.

You know, you could, if you wanted, program a Mozart quartet or a Bach chorale in it.
4 voices no problem.
But the thing allows only 16 steps maximum per pattern, adn I think 16 patterns.
Maybe I’ll try a bit of one at some point.
That’d be a trip.

If one of the developers of it reads this, I think using some better color scheme would have helped to distinguish different windows.

It’s just a good thing they didn’t have this when I was 18.
I’d still be living in mom’s basement.

I’ve said that before.

Whoaa! I had no idea you would be interested in a sound like that! Great distortion tones! The buzzy bass coming through these headphones is a trip. This could be looped all night at a rave, you realize that don’t you?
Veeeerrry interesting. Love it even if I don’t understand it.
Yeah I noticed it’s at #57 out of 40,000 + songs in Electronica, no easy feat!

You know, I don’t understand electronica at all…

OK, I’m working on a great tune - this thing is going to do it - a version of “Ball of Confusion” - you guys know that song, I hope.
