monitoring live

Is there any special settings that must be adjusted to monitor the the live performance through a headset. I can hear the playback through the headset just not the live stuff.
Any healp is greatly appreciated. I searched the forum but came up empty so sorry if this is covered somewhere.

It’s vista on an HP Pavilion

realtech soundcard.

Thanks

Hi Mx, I think the setting is in the realtek mixer, ( have HP Pavilion also) can’t remember where at since I don’t use the realtek anymore, one of the tabs will bring you to mic/line mix (which ever you are using) and you have to adjust playback level there for the live instrument/vocal.

You can try the live input switch in nTrack but I can’t remember if that worked with the realtek card.

Thanks Zay that was it, the playback setting on the realtech was muted.

Thanks again!!!

Here’s guide I made to the LIVE button. You have to use the exact mouse trail or it won’t work though.

Poppa–

I’m having a hardtime following the mouse path; sometimes I’m not sure if I’m supposed to go left or right…?

Maybe you can make it a little clearer?

I’ll be more detailed next time

Poppa you have too much time on your hands…LOL!!!

PACO

OK, POPPA W’S POST ISN’T VERY FUNNY AT ALL!
I HAVE SPENT 3 AND 1/2 DAYS TRYING TO GET TO THE LIVE BUTTON VIA HIS MAPPING ROUTE!
ALL I CAN THINK IS THAT HE MUST BE FROM TEXAS!
:p

Well actually it looks like something I’d do. . . . . .for real . . . . .

I looked at my hands and all I saw was skin, hair and nails. Not a bit of time to be seen.

What can I zay, Zay. Typically “male” of you. STOP AND ASK FOR DIRECTIONS!

Merry Chrispers To ALL.

Poppa, I did ask for directions! But now I am in the midle of a corn field off of an unnamed dirt road - I turned left at the old oak tree, made a right where th grocery store used to be and went straight until I passed the four cows in a field of winter grass, then I went exactly, almost two miles passed the Sloam place before I turned left over the old one-lane bridge - I don’t know where I went wrong - but I can hear a banjo playing somewhere so maybe I am close.
Merry Christmas from Texas!

Ya’ took a wrong turn somewhere Bax. That bridge near the Sloam place got washed out last spring.
