Multi-track analyzer

Has anyone had any luck with using the Voxengo SPAN analyzer beyond two inputs?
It is supposed to be able to handle 8 but I have had no luck reaching that capability.

That’s a VST correct? VST3? It will depend where your putting it. On the master channel, in that case it will only be the output from the master channel, normally 2 channels, L+R Stereo. I don’t see this VST being an input VST where you can use it in real time as audio is input. You could add it to each track one at a time but your system will bog down.

Hope that helps,

Hey Paco,

What I did was bus two channels (panned L/R) to a “group.” I can then see the two channels separately in SPAN. However, the remaining inputs (IN3-IN8) I can’t seem to expose for routing.

For a better explanation, see the following tutorial starting at around minute 7 on.

And then from part 2 from the beginning.

This appears to be a really good tool. I just can’t figure out how to utilize it in n-track.

Do you have a hardware interface that supports 8 channels of inputs?
