It’s been a while since I’ve been here now because I joined a band and most of my spare time has been taken up with that and I’ve had no time for my home recording
But I’ve rediscovered my craving for writing and recording my own music and I’m looking for some kind of all-in-one multi-track recorder (I still don’t have the time that i used to have for playing around with a PC setup)…
I’ve been looking at this one and this one.
What should I be looking for in terms of quality? As i want something with the capability of producing professional sounding recordings. Will either of these two do the trick?
And could i get away with spending less on one, or would i be compromising on the level of sound that i can get from it?
I would rather spend as little as possible but still maintain a high level of quality!
Any thoughts or recommendations?
Have you considered the Zoom H4?
I have no experience with either, but I’m sort of wondering - would not a PC based solution be easier to use? More options for plugins, easier editing, mastering, that sort of thing?
