Hey gang!

Here’s an old colab tune from last year. TSpringer, Bruffie, Diogenes and myself. I’ve replaced the original drum loop with Proteus VX drums. Took nearly a year for me to get all the files due to alot happening in my life.
Any comments are welcome.

Hey Yaz,

I thought this one had died :)

Let’s get Mr Springer do do all the vox and then we’ll have something good. There’s a big clash in the voices, differences in phrasing, intonation, etc… that makes the song sound a little dis-jointed, and Tim’s voice suits the style of the song much better than mine. If we can get Tim to replace me in the 2nd and 4th verses the song will be great.

Music is great, love the new drums, and 3 good guitar players on this. Nice mix Yaz!

Oh man… I can’t wait to hear this when I get home! Everything sounds poo on this laptop. I had to laugh when I bought it… right there on the box in big letters “Audio by Altec Lansing”. The thing is barely an inch tall when closed and the speakers are in the lower part ported out under the keyboard. Altec Lansing… pfffttt! A song I know that sounds great in the headphones or on the speakers at home sounds like two mice fighting over a piece of Limburger trapped in a coffee can…

This was one of the first songs I heard when I joined the forum last year… kinda brings a tear to my eye. I wondered about that Yaz guy - little did I know.

SoundClick support has been busy lately - they actually lost all tunes over two years old for about a week last week. I’m sure they’re revamping their storage.

Yes, you are correct Poppa W -
there’s a blog at the top of their banner
-they are moving their storage and they will finish the move by Wednesday. I think meaning the end of Wed. I got a few sites to come up like country rose but the rest of us are offline.

The song was dormant on my back-up for almost a year, lost my Mother to cancer in between doing this and other projects. Things pretty much back to normal around here now so decided to try and get some kinda finished product out of this. Excellent song writing by TSpringer and Bruffie, Diogenes is Mr. Nimble fingers on that Strat (he even makes a strat sound ok). D and myself were just along for the ride and the view, but I will say I had a blast doing this with these guys, they are good folk!

Thanks for letting me get involved Mr. Springer, Mr. Brough and Mr. Gray! :)

P.S. Kinda wondering why Poppa W would want to hang around on this forum after seeing some of my posts from a year ago LMBO! :laugh:

Well written lyrics, chord sequences, ace recording…everything.

That’s great, switching the singer is cool, esp. when Bruffie’s distinctive voice comes in (som eof your best singing!), and you know, Springer Brough Gray Teague has a good sort of ring to it. :)

I finally got to hear it this morning! :agree:

First: GREAT JOB on the err… “resurrection” Yaz!
Second: Great job all around on the performances guys… (except for the infamous Diogenes geetar wankin’… but I’m still trying!)
Third: Ian? Here is a FINE example of your “words-manship” dude. You not only wrote some great lyrics but made a great contribution vocally. Don’t be dissin’ yourself no mo’ ya’ hear? Or I’ll have to come to Dubai and make you listen to ME sing! ROFLMAO! THAT, you don’t need.

Yaz, I want a download of the mp3 if I can get one. It’s going on the iPod.
