n-track and ezdrummer

Not sure if I am doing this right.
I add channel
Add New instrument channel
Select ezdrummer.

When I drag and drop a drum pattern into the track it opens a new track.
Every time I drag and drop a pattern it opens a new track. I have to delete a track everytime I drag and drop.
Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

Bill

No. You're not doing anything wrong. n-Track doesn't handle MIDI "clips" and drag-n-drop worth a hoot. *shrug*

Where's Poppa Willis? He may have some tips for you. I gave up.

Groan - Yes sirree Bob! We’ve been working on this quite actively. We meaning me.

Old versions suck creek water with EZD. Which version you using? we’ll start there.

I’m using the newest version
thanks

to relieve frustration for ya I’d say compile it in another editor that is more EZD friendly. Then import as a rendered wav or complete EZD midi file. Search the forum for EZD and you’ll get a feel for what’s been the issues - like clip drag and drop, editing etc.
