N-track and SMDI

SMDI Support

Hallo

ist there something planed to integrate SMDI support in N-track ?
Or is somebody knowing a Freeware tool for Win XP to transport with SMDI ?

regards Gollum

I’d be surprised if there were any plans to add direct support, since n-Tracks isn’t a sampler or wave editor.

Here’s a link from Peavey’s website about SDMI:

Adwave may work for you:

FOR THIS

Save a midi timing template of the sample to a standard midi file.
Save segments into a SoundFont, DLS, Gigasampler, or Pinnacle bank file, and also transmit via SDS and SMIDI (full support for the Yamaha A3000 / EX, Akai S2000 series, and E-Mu ESI samplers included).
Slow down and speed up a loop without changing its pitch,and transpose / pitch bend a loop without changing its speed in real time (with sequencer);
