n-Track for Mac

Finally…

Hi All,

I’ve just uploaded the first build of n-Track for Mac.
I imagine that not many in the forum have Macs, but just in case, if anyone wants to give it a spin, I’d be glad to hear their comments.
It’s version 0.3.0 Beta (!), so it still has a long way to go to catch up with the Windows version, but it’ll eventually get there.
It can be downloaded from http://ntrack.com/downloadmac.php

Flavio.

:agree: That number has a nice ring to it. This should be interesting

Booooooooh!

Congrats Flavio. :D

PACO

this is good.

my obvious question is this,

can registered users of the software get the codes for the mac version?

This has been long awaited for those of use who want to use Ntrack on Mac’s.

keeps shinin

jerm

jeremysdemo,

the Mac version accepts the same registration codes as the Windows version. The codes will probably be different in the future but existing and new users will receive the codes for both the Windows and the Mac versions.

Flavio.

Hi everyone :D

Hiding my head in shame, I have to admit that today was the first time I heard of n-Track… sorry!

The reason may be that I’m a dyed in the wool Mac user since more than 20 years, and so, I’m happy to see that we Macers now have one more choice of DAW.

I wish I would’ve been the messenger of happier tidings, but I have to say it:

n-Track 0.3.0 beta takes an immedaite nosedive when I try to launch it on my Macbook Pro, System 10.5.8.

Here’s the message:

spitfire31,

thanks for the report. It looks like a problem related to the version of the operating system.
We haven’t yet tested on 10.5.x/Leopard, but will do so in a short while and let you know.

Flavio.

Flavio,

Thanks for quick feedback! I’m looking forward to the Leopard compatible version eventually!

Best,

Joachim

Hi Flavio and Mac Users:

Ain’t that something…
:agree:

I heard you (Flavio) threaten that there’d be an n-Track (Mac) version…
It’s not likely that I’ll ever get beyond an Intel/Windows Computer User…
OR…
ever see a Mac Computer in operation, using n-Track…
However, It would be nice to see n-Track working on a Mac…
I can only imagine the mental energy required to re-create n-Track from scratch…

Congratulations …
Flavio…
