Having been a long time user, long time, it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to move away from N-Track. Looking through my archives it seems I have been a registered user since version 1.2 or so, all the way through 5. I had tried many other programs over the years but never wanted to take the plunge of the learning curve or expense most other programs have, when I could get it done in N-track.
Playing with Beta 6 and creating home made “loops” has opened up a whole new creation experience for me. But…I realized after a couple of hours of heavy use, “N was not what I now needed.” There is no more band, it is just me trying my best to play all the instruments, mix, master…I need an all in one toolset to get things done faster. I have decided to go with an Adobe product.
Flavio, thank you for all your hard work over the years!! I firmly believe N-Track is still the best value for the $$$.

If all you need is a fancy, PC based tape recorder AND n-Track "likes" your system, hey you're all set!
Maybe I should have said "It happens to some of us sooner or later." The amount of "some of us" seems to be getting larger... and the "status quo" crowd doesn't give a sh!t. THAT'S the worst part.

It's all good, just keep away from those pig ugly Suhrs etc I've seen you ooohing and aaahing about lately. Those headstocks - pure pukeola.

Some of them are tastefully done IMO others... meh a bit too "garish" for my tastes... That 5120 I mentioned earlier has the prettiest orange top... specially considering it was the "low-end" version. Very tasteful...

Seriuosly, I tend to like oddballish guitars. I don't know why. My two main axes are a reverse '91 Gibbo Firebird RI and a '01 Setzer 6120 Gretsch. The neck on that Gretsch - yummy!
Whenever/if ever I can afford it my first Fender will be a white Jazzmaster with a tortoise pickguard. No strat!
I’m chillin’ out Poppa. It might take a bit… I just hate to cave in to reality… and that is n-Track will always be mediocre at best despite it’s potential for greatness. Nobody WANTS it… Those that DO and have the balls to PUSH a bit are ignored and derided. It’s stopped in the main forum. Diogenes nor I will be caught there again. (Great Zeuss!.. who am I now?)
