Hello ! me again (sorry)
Now the thing is with N-Tracks Drums.
Here’s what I did:
1) New Midi track
2) New instrument —> N-Tracks drums
3) Track properties —> Hammer icon (settings) ----> Brings up N-Tracks drums interface
4) Create my patterns (thanks and congrats to Hot Dog Water for a great training video)
5) Saved my song
Now, every time I reload my song I find that N-Tracks drums has no loaded patterns.
What I ended up doing is to save the patterns directly from the interface but I have to load them again from the interface every time I reload the song.
Is this the way it should work or am I doing something wrong here ?
Thanks in advance !
Well, I do it the same way, loading patterns manually every time. It would be great if the patterns could be saved automatically in the nTrack song file.
Thanks for the input… I was hoping I was doing something wrong here.
That sounds like a bad bug, even if it isn’t. I put in the same boat as having to reselect every plug-in’s parameters every time a song is reloaded, or manually reopen wave files. Think about having to redo even one EQ every time…
I’d say file a bug report.
I thought it was supposed to work that way. lol I have to reload my patterns too, I save them as presets in the song’s folder… It would be great if it saved them automagically.
Used N drums only once up to now, but I had to mixdown the drum file to a .wav before reinserting it into the song…
ya, I do that too, but for each drum - To get a kick track, a snare track and then again to get hats/cymbals…it’s a close as I can get to properly miked drum set lets me apply effects to each drum separately.
here’s one for you - if you insert one MIDI event, say pattern A, does it stop playing the pattern at the end of the measure? Mine goes and goes and goes, which is annoying. I actually have to insert a blank pattern event to get it to STFU.
If I put one event that’s pattern A, seems like it ought to play it once and then go quiet. No?
Yeh I have that too.
Be a nice touch to pop that in N6.
yup. until then, though:

I do wish it would handle 24 bit samples, but for twenty dollah I’m pretty stoked. Drums have always been a major hurdle for me. ugh.
Yo Hux -
That RhythmRascal is pretty nice. I just purchased
that sucker and got me reg code within the hour.
Now it’s nothing but Hawaii 50!
