Woot! The fam got me a shiny new Samsung 2053bw LCD monitor for me birthday. This thing is GORGEOUS! I have a Sam 24 incher at the salt mine for CAD work that I thought was amazing. I don’t have the space for one that big here but the boys and wifey got the not so subtle hints and ordered the 20" model for me. Me likey… me likey a lot…

Hanna when right over my old homeplace last night. (course I’m not there) Not much happening with it. You’ll get a lot of rain and a few limbs down, but not much else. Power out only if a limb happens to hit the right line at just the right place. (it could have been a lot worse, and it was in many other places)

We are so vulnerable to weather along our shore that it takes priority in our conversations to each other…
A difference of 30-50 miles (along the shore) is the difference of rain or sunshine
or snow-and-ice or rain…
Lots of weather goes into the Bay of Fundy…
If it does we are on the wet side…
If it runs along the coast we are on the windy side of the storm…
Either way…
we are in trouble…
Our lakes can’t hold anymore water…
With full lakes…
we are in for a long/tough winter… The saying is…
the lakes don’t freeze over till they are full…
I get to chin-wag with friends in Eastern PA…
along the mountains… The country-side is so nice over there…
Much like Cape Breton Island…

However, I haven’t got any mail from them as to how their weather was yesterday…

I’ve got a HP w2207 here, man it makes a difference. Dang I used to have tv’s smaller than this here monitor. The times they are a changin’.
