Nice Drum setup

…but expensive

This is what I would like for me.
(Including the the Roland TD-20 V-Drums)
And I don’t even play drums.

Hi sevenOfeleven:

That kit looks great…
We’re on the same page…
I wonder if both of our bank accounts would survive the Hit…

I’m spending hard on this studio here…
I working on installing the hardwood floor and getting ready to wire it…
But…
I need insulation-and-heat…
It’s cooling off over here…

Bill…

Hey Bill
I hear you. (need a bailout to purchase it)

Might call for a new music genre - "Cold"

I know you don’t have high-speed (neither do I),
so I put up an mp3 that I made from the demo on their homepage.
Plus they got quite a write-up in last months ‘Recording’ magazine.

Ocean Way Demo mp3

That looks pretty cool but crikey, it’d completely nuke a thousand bucks! OUCH!!

'Scuse me while I ask the wife…

"Honey? Sweet cakes? I WUV YOOOUUU… Hey umm… can I spend a thousand bucks on drum software?"

BOOM! < 12 gauge 00 buckshot

Poor Dubious… he always wanted to get ahead… now he REALLY needs one… :p

D

Is it me or do the demos only sound ok? I mean, $1000 in VSTi, $5000 in VDRums… err, I can get you setup with a really decent mic setup and drum kit for the same money.

And like a ton of bricks it hit him just how much money he had tied up in music gear…

Holy crap, I spend entirely too much time and money on this as I am quickly doing the math on what I have tied up in just tracking drums.

Bubbagump -
It’s hard to hear the real deal when it’s streamed over the net. Compression and all.
So, I kind of take that into consideration when I’m listening to a demo like
this one - that is streamed. But- I gotta admit, I think it sounds pretty
darn toot’in good. But you are right.
It just makes me want to hear this kit played in a studio environment.
I just want to have this setup in a studio, with a case of Rolling Rock on
a Friday night. That’s all.

Heh, there are lots of things I wouldn’t mind on a Friday night with some Rolling Rock.

33!
:D

Ah yes - 33
I was worried when A-Bucsh took them over.
Thought they might mess with the mystique.
Glad they chose not to.

:agree: Old #7 says Hi

I would dump this apartment for that room any day. Those drums IMO sound great. But then I’m not into supporting inflation. What costs so much? Really?

I had this reply going to this thread…
Then my machine up and re-booted…
I had to go back to work anyway…
Then I was ready to push the Quick Post button… again… and my browser up and quit…
Lets see…
if this one will work…

The other day I was browsing the Musicstop and came across a Roland Drum Pad Machine…
I don’t know the model…
It has a series of Pads with some nice samples in it…
A fasenating looking machine…
I think the machine will accept Samples-to-Suit as well…
It’s about 700.00 CND…
Who knows what could be gotten from it??
If I had the loonies, I’d be trying this thing out…
