i’ve found that pan only works when ‘‘recording stereo tracks’’ is enabled, if ‘‘recording stereo tracks’’ setting is disabled you can only hear Mono and not Stereo!
anyone could confirm this?
where do you see these options? the recording VU Meter? seems to work for me?
What build? Pan works fine here, and always has.

I can imagine seeing this kind of behavior if you’re using LIVE mode, and monitoring through n-Track, rather than simply monitoring directly through your line card’s internal loopback (soundcard’s mixer). (Even then, it doesn’t quite make sense.) And it would only apply to monitoring the signal you’re recording, and not to adjusting the pan during playback.
Sumpin’ ain’t quite right hereabouts.
