pitch bend on wav file?

Mastered it in the piano roll now…but can it be done on a wav file in N?

Kind of - but through your synth/player or something like Alchemy.

and then re-record the track whilst re-bending it.

Strewth! No easier way?
I was thinking maybe just drawing some lines in an envelope edit…

not in n. Why not create the bend in midi, then convert to wav?

Im after the full song to pitch bend down sharply (bass, vox etc.) before reverting back to normal for drums to come in…

If it’s just the intro, you could do a mini mix-down, load it into a sample player and then re-record it whilst playing the “dive” on your pitch wheel.

Illformed Glitch has an effect in it that will do that.

Ooh! Cheers Tom. I hadn't come across this - I'll get some use out of that, rather than it being one of those that remains at the back of the folder, zipped-up;-)

It’s very good, and it’s very free. :agree:

…and then it took me 2 hours of reinstalling, re-scanning and all that jozz to realise that it’s an effect rather than an instrument - I’d be dangerous if I had a brian.

Nice one Tom :agree:

It’s an effect, by the way. :)

It’s the “stop” or glitch function on it that I thought might work for you, Craig. It’s a really fun effect to play with. Makes me sound like I know what I’m doing to all the young teens.
