Post some music!

Now!

Maybe weekend.

Don’t have anything new to post

Well, what are you guys up to? You can’t use the excuse that you are caught up in the crazy drama that is USA politics.

Well mostly working... and recovering from moving country 8 months ago.

That’s no excuse!

Well, yes it is. But still, it isn’t! :)

My semester ends tomorrow, and then I get 4 glorious days off…

OK, check out the tune “Catastrophe” at www.reverbnation.com/varia . This was the other song I very recently mixed and mastered in n-track after our the mix sent from the studio came back an appalling joke (you simply wouldn’t believe it if you heard it - see other post with the other song “Cows Come Home”). think i managed to salvage it. in the process of recording stuff at home again with n-track so will post those when done, but these things always take longer tha ya think…

OK, you slackers, in the last couple of days I managed to write stuff for the kids’ recording club and do at least a short thing for myself, and here it is:

Nice one Tom.
Your Charlie knocks a mean bit of iron - nice work.

Many Spademans are talented people, it is true.

This for example is Charlie’s younger sister, my cousin Sarah Spademan:

And another younger sibling of Charlie’s, William Spademan, is the founder of this:

Feels good:-)

(trying to knock a mix out, of a thing a friend and me have been crafting. I only get routinely interupted when it matters - is it just me?)

No, it’s not just you.

A backing track for a cover I did Saturday.

The bass and drums are MIDI place holders for the time being (aka, cheese). I think I got pretty close.

Yup. Goin’ nicely into shape. Smashing bito’ guit. When’s the finished article expected?

You never post anything less than steller, Bubba. :agree:

This is just a backing track for a live show. So this is "finished". This will be under live drums, bass, guitar, and vocals. Thus the bass and drums are place holders and will be muted in the final.

My favourite ever song to sing Bubba, sounds like it's gonna be good! Tony's right, guitar is very, very nice. Drums are the key to this song. Love to hear the finished result. I've only ever recorded it live. :agree: :agree:

Tom…in a day or two I will be posting the cheesiest song I’ve ever done. My only excuse is it was comissioned under tight guidelines. Think Bruffie does Julio Iglesias
