Using n-Track Studio Extended 9.1.5x64, Build 5407 on a desktop PC running Windows 10 Pro.
I armed the audio track I want to record on by clicking the record button on the track, then clicked the record button on the transport bar. It records for about half a second and then stops. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
Never mind. I discovered that recording works in n-Track version 7. I compared the audio device settings and saw that version 7 was set to MME and version 9 was set to wasapi. I changed version 9 to MME and although the program doesn’t recommend it, it works. Using the wasapi setting also prevents other programs from playing audio when n-Track is open. I thought wasapi was supposed to be the vest setting, but it doesn’t work.
